Divide 0,000 Between Army and Navy Funds CRETE, 111., May 27. The 550,000 which the Lincoln Fields Jockey Club will contribute for War Relief next Saturday, Decoration Day, will be divided equally between the Army and Navy funds, it was announced this afternoon by Col. Matt J. Winn, executive director. Directors of the track voted this gift last Saturday and, after further consideration, decided to give S25,000 " to each of the two service organizations. Presentation of checks in these amounts will be made to representatives of the service agencies at Lincoln Fields next Saturday. The actual presentation will be made by Stuyvesant Peabody, president of the track. Colonel Winn also announced that the purchase of 0,000 in War Bonds will be made on Saturday". This investment will be handled through the Continental Illinois National Bank. and Trust Company of Chicago, whose representative will deliver them to the track on Saturday.
