Entries for the six-furlong Memories Handicap, for three-year-olds and upward, and the chief supporting event on Saturdays Peabody Memorial Stakes program, close Thursday with racing secretary W. H. Shelley. The Memories carries a purse of ,500 and is expected to draw a large and fast field. .Weights will be posted early Friday, with j declarations by 10:30 the same morning.
