Recherche Victor in Eire By Special Correspondent. DUBLIN, Ireland. — Last years all powerful owner-trainer-jockey combination. Joseph McGrath-Michael Collins and Money Wing, were slow finding its stride this season, and it was not until the Naas April meeting that it struck gold when Recherche won the five-furlong Kings-furze Two-Year-Old Plate. For this race Sir Percy Loraines Ekyad was a joint first choice with C. A. Rogers Lady Fairford. Most of the way the latter set the pace, but close to home, Recherche, hard ridden by Wing, was up in the closing strides to snatch a head victory. Recherche, held at odds of 7 to 1, was bred by McGrath at his Brownstown Stud, The Curragh. He is a bay colt by Umidwar, out of Constant Law, by Portlaw, out of Constant Lady, by Stedfast. His dam died a couple of weeks after foaling, and the colt had to be bottle fed.
