BOLD CAPTAIN, slow to begin and outrun the first half, was taken to the extreme outside entering the stretch and, responding to punishment, disposed of the leaders and won drawing clear. FLYING KING went to the front early, held a clear lead when settled for the drive and continued gamely, but was not good enough for the winner, although easily best of the others. CAMPTOWN, on the outside throughout, came determinedly during the stretch run, but could not reach the leaders. BAYBOROUGH came to the inside for the drive and made a good bid before tiring. VALDINA PUNCH faltered after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. JOIS gave way after displaying good speed to the last eiehth. HASTY KAY was never prominent. ALL GOOD had early speed. ONE ONLY, alertly ridden, went to the front approaching the stretch and, responding to a shaking up, drew out to win as his rider pleased. MEGGY, slow to begin, saved ground while outrun to the final quarter, came to the outside for the drive and closed resolutely, but did not menace the winner. LOANGO, never far back, made a bold bid in the stretch before tiring. BOOM ON came to the inside for I he drive, but could not menace when hard urged. BILL G. was never prominent and had no mishaps. MANY LANDS tired after half a mile and bore out badly during the stretch run. BLACK RAIDER had good speed to the stretch, then gave way. GOLD BUBBLE began well, but failed to keep up. ALUMONT saved ground while in hand the first half, responded readily when roused entering the stretch and disposed of PROSPECT BOY in the last sixteenth. PROSPECT BOY, slow to begin, was rushed up fast on the outside approaching the upper turn and, after taking command, held on determinedly, but was not good enough for the winner. PRINCIPAL ONE worked his way up steadily to the stretch, then failed to better his position under strong handling. MELODY TONE, on the inside throughout, faltered after making a good bid in the back stretch. ONE LINK was done early. FOND HOPES quit alter going a half. EXPLODED, in hand while saving ground to the last three-eighths, moved up stoutly when called upon, but could not menace the winner, although easily besting the others. OK SUGAR, slow to begin and outrun to the stretch, came to the outside for the drive and finished strongly. KNOCK KNOCK tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch.
