Court Appoints Administrator Of Estate of E. F. Woodwards HOUSTON, Texas, June 16.— As a result Of a suit contesting the will of the late Emerson F. Woodward, retired oil man and owner of Valdina Farm, County Judge Roy Hofheinz appointed the City National Bank temporary administrator for the estate, estimated at 0,000,000. The contestants are two brothers, William Z. Woodward, of Houston, and Oran N. Woodward, of Syracuse, N. Y., and a sister, Mrs. Cora M. Noe, of Totowa Boro, N. J. The 1936 wills of Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Woodward, who were killed a few weeks ago when their car was struck by a train, left practically the entire estate to a grandson, Robert Woodward. It is the contention of the brothers and sister of the deceased sportsman that subsequent wills had been written revoking that made in 1936. William B. Barnhill, who is in charge of the Valdina breeding and racing interests, is one of the executors appointed on filing of the 1936 will late in May.
