Billy Floyd Takes Lead FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, HI., May 27. — Billy Floyd, an apprentice, who starred in the saddle during the Phoenix meetings, took a lead on his opponents on opening day when he held the reins on three winners. Floyd scored with Better Home in the first, Irish Wash in the sixth and rounded out his days work with a popular victory on Four Fifty in the eighth race. Jim Boucher was not far behind the apprentice as he drove to victory the Mr. and Mrs. Al Breedlove pair, Watch Chilla and Dauberup, winners of the fourth and fifth races.
