► 846 Stake Nominations MONMOUTH PARK, Long Branch, N. J., May 27. — A final tabulation of 846 nominations has been made at Monmouth Park for the 12 stakes to be decided during the coming 36-day meeting, June 10 through July 20. General manager Edward J. Brennan and racing secretary John Turner, Jr., have expressed their delight at the enthusiastic response from horsemen, something of a record for a race track in its first season.
