Fairbairn. WENT TO POST-5:43. OFF AT 5:45 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. SLY MANNER, allowed to improve his position gradually while under restraint, weakened while under pressure in the last three-sixteenths, yet got up. PORKY made the early pace in hand, was under urging after a mile and held on stubbornly to the last seventy yards, where he faltered. JUST TOURIST moved up approaching the final turn, swerved slightly in the stretch and, holding on well, was getting to the leaders. MAURICE K., inclined to bear in the entire trip, was held safe. HAPPY CHOICE had no mishap. N0DSB0Y weakened badly. MERITORIOUS was outrun. OUR MAYOR bore in badly. Scratched— 98533 Charlene, 106; 98533 Pretty Thing, 106.
