Mallorca Corpa Stakes Winner June 11 Reuters. MADRID, Spain, — — The Duchess of Valencias Mallorca, by Pappageno II — Lovely Liz, today won the Corpa Stakes, worth ,360 by half a length from Jap, with Abbots Tryst two lengths away in the one mile and a half race. Mallorca was imported from Ireland in 1944, when he was a two-year-old. He was ridden by Leforestier and was 6-4 in the wagering. The first three horses were conditioned by Trainer Cadenas.
