Fire Quickly Extinguished MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 11. — The management of Monmouth Park suffered an uneasy moment or two Saturday when a fire was discovered in the grandstand. It broke out in a pile of sawdust and shavings and was quickly extinguished without damage by the tracks fire brigade, but meanwhile an alarm had been turned in which brought companies from Oceanport and Port-au-Peck. "Thats going from one extreme to the other," a track official commented. "For weeks we have been combating rain; now its fire. Its just one darned thing after another."
