DIESEL SAND, always clear, reached the lead while in hand, drew out under urging and, kept under a hand ride in the final eighth, won with little left. MARIE OLYMPIA, in hand early and raced wide, entered contention with a rush and continued resolutely to the end. DOUBLE DUTY came from far back with a rush in the last three-sixteenths. LUCKY ANN was under good urging in the final quarter and held on well. HAIHIGH lost ground and closed a gap in the stretch. GOLD FANCY raced wide. EPOLA weakened gradually in the last five-sixteenths. KAYS LOVE, close up early, dropped back when being forced wide on the stretch turn, bore in while working way up gradually in the stretch and outfinished ANDYS SIS. The latter, well up from the beginning and also forced wide while between horses on the stretch turn, made a determined effort, despite being in close quarters in the drive, but was not good enough. MARGARET raced to the front after missing the crowding on the stretch turn, but tired in the late stages. SWEET REWARD, in close quarters early and again when approaching the stretch, was blocked near-ing the last furlong, but weakened when clear. DELIVER raced well from a slow beginning. LADY EASTON drifted out when working her way to the front and did not keep up in the final quarter. GLAZIER was held safe. SACRED VOW showed little. TENOS had speed, bore out and quit badly. THUNDER HOOF went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch under occasional urging, then drew clear, winning easily. LEIDA, never far back, responded readily when set down in the drive, but was unable to menace the winner, although easily best of the others. INTRIGUING, away well and on the inside throughout, could not better her position when roused for the drive. MIAMI MOON failed to stay after showing early speed. EASY DOUGH began slowly and was on the outside throughout. JUDGE DAVEY began fast, but failed to keep up while racing wide the entire trip. LITTLE HARE tired badly during the final furlong. MISS E. suffered interference on the upper turn and failed to recover. SWEET COMET also was bothered after five-sixteenths and lost all chance. MALI JOHNNY, never far back but •n the inside, came stoutly when hard ridden through the stretch and, after disposing of PAPRIKA, held STAGE-BOY safe. STAGEBOY, much used engaging PAPRIKA to the stretch, held on willingly when set down in the drive, but was not good enough for the winner. PAPRIKA assumed command at once, made the pace to the last furlong, then weakened. LOVE SONNET, outrun and on the outside to the stretch, closed stoutly under punish ment. INDIAN RULER lacked early speed. SUBLIME raced evenly and had no excuse. FLYING PRO tired. MASTER CARL drifted out while weakening during the final quarter. COUNT CHANT, slow to begin and badly outrun to the stretch, came to the outside for the drive and, responding to brisk urging, disposed of the leaders and was up in the last sixteenth, despite pulling up lame. MISS SHOW ME went to the front early, held a clear lead approaching the stretch and held on willingly, but was unable to withstand the winner. TOP BOOK raced evenly without mishap, giving a sharp effort. ONPALO raced prominently to the stretch and tired. STARS AT NIGHT raced wide. AS BOLD, between horses throughout, could not better his position. THORMOND was outrun. EPIZAR began slowly. FLYOMA was forced to take up sharply when in close quarters after the start and lost all chance. MY GRACE quit. MIGHTY ARAB, taken up when bothered entering the stretch; failed to recover. WHOSE assumed command early, shook off FINAL GLORY after reaching the final furlong, then held on determinedly to withstand TAWNY LADY. The latter worked her way forward steadily, was sent to the inside for the drive and, responding to brisk handling, was getting to the winner. FINAL GLORY held on stoutly to the last eighth, then faltered. DIDEROD finished well under urging. LOST AND FOUND failed to stay after racing prominently to the stretch. CHANCE TAKER was outrun. FRISKY SPIRIT raced wide. LITTLE MILLY tired. BOBS DREAM broke slowly and never was a serious factor. FREE SPEECH, forwardly placed from the beginning, assumed command entering the stretch and retained his advantage under a steady hand ride, despite bearing out through the final three-sixteenths. PINK DEVIL, a sharp factor throughout, responded readily when roused for the drive, but could not threaten the winner. DARBY DULUTH, away fast, moved to the front near the stretch and was subjeced to severe punishment, but failed to stay. C0RYD0N lacked early speed, but finished strongly. UP FRONT tired. SWEET HELEN, never far back, went to the front entering the stretch, responded readily when shaken up and increased her advantage steadily to the finish. PORKY went into command at once, made the pace to the stretch, could not hold the winner, but continued determinedly and bested the others. PROSPECT BOY, in hand to the final quarter, closed stoutly under urging. HEB0SS held on well in a good effort. MARATIMER, outrun to the stretch and on the inside, could not get to the leaders when set down for the drive. SUNNY JACK never was prominet and went lame. SAY N0M0RE tired badly after three-quarters.
