W0G went to the front early, gave way to TASK FORCE approaching the stretch and, coming again when hard ridden, was up to dispose of the latter in the last strides. TASK FORCE, a keen factor from the beginning, went into command nearing the stretch and held on stubbornly, but could not withstand the winner, just missing. ECHO BEACH, never far back but on the outside, lost ground entering the stretch, then finished fast under punishment. MR. DANNY, on the inside from the beginning, raced evenly without mishap. DARBY DULUTH, outrun to the final quarter, closed willingly under brisk urging. BREATH TAKER was outrun. CODE MENTOR was never dangerous. INDIAN GIVER held on well to the stretch, then weakened.
