Testimonial to Earl F. Gibson SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 25. Earl F. Gibson, mutuel manager at Suffolk Downs, will be given a testimonial dinner by the men of the Suffolk Downs mutuel department at the Hotel Bradford roof on Sunday night. A committee headed by John TJpham, James Groves and Maurice Doyle has worked out the arrangements. Limited exclusively to mutuel department members, the dinner will be attended by 470 men. Gibson, who is also a vice-president of the Eastern Racing Association, Inc., operators of Suffolk Downs, has been the mutuel manager at the Boston track since 1943.
