The Shaker, Easy Reeling Win at Monmouth MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 25. Glen Riddle Farms The Shaker and L. R. Duxstadts Easy Reeling won divisions of the six-furlong Navesink Purse for three-year-olds, which was offered as co-features on the program here today. Each section of the race provided a thrilling finish for the crowd of 7,248 that witnessed the sport under ideal conditions. The Shaker, making his first start over the local course following a moderately successful campaign at Delaware Park, just did last to defeat Woodlawns charging Hat Trick a nose in the second division of the Navesink, offered as the sixth race. Hat Trick, one of the outsiders in the six-horse field, was easily second best, gaining that position by three lengths from J. M. Roeblings odds-on favorite Manipur, the third horse. Easy Reelings margin of victory in the first division of the feature was a neck over H. G. Goffs Quelle Belle, who finished three lengths clear of Carl Hanfords Bogging Bob.
