Wildlife May Journey Postward for Omnibus Star-Studded Field Will Meet On Week-End at Monmouth MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 26. Indications today pointed to a star-studded fiejd of three-year-olds and older being drawn for Saturdays 0,000 Omnibus Handicap, an historic feature being revived at New Monmouth Park after a lapse of 53 years. Racing secretary John Turner, Jr., expects a near limit field to start in the one mile and a furlong event with J. M. Roeblings Wildlife, who registered a surprise victory in last seasons 0,000 Dwyer Stakes, the starting highweight under 116 pounds. Greentree Stables Dockstader, winner of Delaware Parks recent Brandy-wine Handicap, also is listed as a definite starter, and will take up 115 pounds. Another stakes winner expected to answer the bugle is Bernard Seroys fleet Hillyer Court, hero of this years Louisiana Handicap. Under the weight assignments, "Hillyer Court also will carry 115 pounds. Other stakes winners who are being pointed for the Omnibus are Mrs. Tilyou Christophers Bel Reigh, already a two-time winner at the Monmouth Park meeting and winner of Tropical Parks Peninsula Handicap early in the spring; Mrs. Robert H. Heighes consistent Zax and Mandel B. Goffs Skytracer, who is rapidly shaking off the minor injuries he incurred last Sunday. Bel Reighs Omnibus burden will be 113 pounds, while Zax and Sky-tracer each will carry 111 pounds. Remaining likely starters are Paragon Stables Bob Mann, 115; W. W. Jones Bull Play, 112; Gustave Rings Prefect, 112; Morton Newmeyers Turbine, 140; Hava-home Stables Cencerro, 109; Mimosa Stock Farms Bold Dan, 107, and G. A. Lawsons Lovat, the lightweight in the group, under 105 pounds. The Omnibus Handicap is the first major prep for the July 20 running of the 5,000 Monmouth Handicap at a mile and a quarter.
