Refund on Sam Bernard JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., June 26. Sam Bernard, Quaker Stables candidate for the sixth race today, reared in his stall in the paddock before the race and cut a gash in a foreleg. The colt was ordered withdrawn by the paddock judge, and all wagers were refunded.
