i West Going to Detroit WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, HI., May 21. — Apprentice Jerry West, who checked in here today to ride Brown Hotel Stables Go Jeep Go in the Joliet Stakes, leaves Monday for Detroit, Mich., where he will rejoin his contract employer, Harry Bensinger, and will ride at the Fair Grounds meeting now in progress. West* led the riders at Churchill Downs.
