Illinois Notes LINCOLN FIELDS -AT -WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, HI., May 21. Robert F. Carey, managing director of Hawthorne race course and prominent local attorney, was a visitor at this track yesterday. After turning in a disappointing effort in the fifth race yesterday, Albulil will be turned out for some weeks, it was decided by trainer E. W. Kalensky. The seven-year-old Bull Dog gelding, owned by Mrs. M. Price, is to be sent to Mrs. A. M. Creechs farm near Hudson, 111. Arthur Mayer, of St. Louis, Mo., and W. F. Sparks, of East St. Louis, 111., arrived" today from their homes to witness the running of the Joliet Stakes. Both have horses here in charge of John F. Beck. Owner H. Hanssen reported tday that Lytta-Jane will be retired from racing. The seven-year-old daughter of High Quest — Erla Lee TJ. is being sent to Lexington, Ky., and will be bred this spring to Okapi. Eldorado Farm disposed of another horse today when W. J_Ormsby purchased Educator at private terms. Trainer W. H. Bishop handled the transaction for the former owner. Ormsby will train Educator. C. H. Karl bought for his own interest, Whiteford Tet, from L. J. Duncan at private terms. Ginny Weaver and June Hayride, both two-year-olds and owned by N. B. Ellis, arrived here today from a farm in Tennessee and were turned over to Dave Womeldprf f to condition. Trainer R. C. Adams reported today that Grand Rush, standing at Joe Knights farm near Nicholasville, Ky., recently produced a fine looking colt by Gallahadion. Victory Banner and Night Miss, owned by the Phil Glenn stables, were turned over to P. G. Johnson and he will train the pair the remainder of the meeting here. F. A. Hughes has been assigned to condition Town Hall, lone colorbearer owned by J. H. Dunn. Ourberra, Boat Man, Mun, Bonrilla and Studying, owned by several parties, were brought here today from Churchill Downs. William M. Peavey, of Ladysmith,-Wis., journeyed from his home to watch his red and gold silks carried in the Joliet Stakes today by Wisconsin Boy.
