Miss Bonnycastle Tries For First Aurora Score Half-Sister to Dr. Stanton Is Coming Off Several Good Races AURORA DOWNS, Aurora, 111., June 8.— Miss Bonnycastle, a six-year-old half-sister of the great pacer Dr. Stanton, tries for her first victory of the season at Aurora Downs tomorrow night after four consecutive second-place performances. Owned by Manford Watson, of Rockville, Ind., and driven by the veteran reinsman Ora Dunkin, Miss Bonnycastle has come from behind in her last four starts and almost nipped the leader in each instance. Only one of the horses who beat her in those starts will race against her tomorrow, and that is the speedy five-year-old Mr. Herbert. Two other tough rivals in the race, however, are Margaret Ann Blackstone and Wilson Abbe. Margaret Ann has been but of the money only once this year, and Wilson Abbe, a consistent money-winner last season, is rapidly returning to form. Others in the featured eighth race, a mile event, are Billy T. Braden, Barber B. and Earl Siskiyou. In the co-feature, the mile sixth race, five trotters who have won at the current meeting are entered. They are Sweet Prince, Bifty Lu, Brave, Mona Patch and Miss Martha Bradford. Three others who have yet to enter the winners circle — Mottleys Choice, Highlawn Milly and Hazel Spencer Capp-T-also are named in the sixth.
