ROMAN DAYZ, keen factor from the start, was bumped Dy ERINSVILLE entering the stretch but took command and continued willingly to hold the latter safe. ERINSVILLE worked way forward steadily, swerved to the inside and bumped ROMAN DAYZ at the stretch turn, then closed well but could not overtake the winner. SKY BLONDE lacked early speed but finished ta«nniKJl!!GS !:ADY outrun t0 the stretcn* closed stoutly under punishment. SIR ROYCE tired after engaging GOBBLER to the stretch. GOBBLER began fast, made the pace for a half mile, then weakened. WHAT A DAY, on the outside, never was dangerous. STROLLING MOON could not keep up. MIROSIE, on the inside, stopped badly after displaying early speed. SIR SWEEP broke well, then dropped far back and gave a decidedly dull performance. RED HORIZON, slow to reach best stride and far back to the last three-eighths, was sent to the outside for the stretch run and, responding to bnsK urging, wore down the leaders and won going away. SWAY AGAIN, outrun to the stretch, closed fast on the outside, but was not good enough for the winner. MISS NELEEN assumed command early, made the pace to the final furlong, then faltered. BILL G. held on well in a good effort. LUNCH DATE tired nearing the finish. VICTORY BLUE, between horses from the start, failed to rally when set down in the stretch. BIG DANCE showed little. MY WAR DOG was done early and pulled up sore. SUGAR LUMP was outrun PERIBOW engaged MISS NELEEN to the stretch. OBSTINATE SI went to the front early, established a clear lead before reaching the stretch, then held on gamely to withstand PARK PIGEON. The latter, away fast, was taken in hand to the stretch, was permitted to drift out on the final turn and, over-confidently handled during the drive, could not reach the winner. MAGNET faltered after racing well to the last eighth. MACKS FIRST could not keep up. YOU ARE YOU began sluggishly. HARUM-SCARUM was through early. - Overweight— Obstinate Si, 3 pounds. WONDRING, forwardly placed from the start, closed willingly under urging, but could not reach the winner. SIAMA, on the outside throughout and never far back, was unable to threaten m the leaders when hard ridden through the stretch. GROWING UP lacked early speed, but closed determinedly when sent up on the outside for the drive. AUNT JAYNE Z. raced wide throughout and never was a serious factor. UNITED NATION, outrun to the stretch, lacked racing room during the drive and could not threaten when clear nearing the finish. EXCITABLE MARY could not keep up. SOMA LAD worked way forward steadily, responded readily when hard ridden through the stretch and was up in the last stride. FEDERAL AGENT, a keen factor from the start, was bothered when WOOLLARDS PET dropped back during the drive, but came again when clear and reached the lead between calls, then was unable to hold the winner and just missed. CACTUS FOOT, reserved until reaching the stretch, was taken up to secure racing room when blocked during the drive and finished strongly, but could not overtake the leaders, although probably best. WOOLLARDS PET went to the front early, made the pace until reaching the final furlong, then weakened. SUES SPECIAL could not keep up. LAYOUT was far back throughout. WOW was outrun.
