Clausen; bred by * S E Pershall ersna"- WENT TO POST-5:05. OFF AT 5:06 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. CHAL JAY wrested command from the outside leaving the backstretch, drew into a long lead while under mild urging rounding the stretch turn and held his advantage under increased pressure.. DUKE B. was never far back, saved ground much of the way and, while making a determined bid in the late stages, was not good enough. MY YEAR had good speed while racing wide, but lacked a closing rally when set down for the drive. CHARGREY had no apparent mishap in an even effort. HAPPY ALL improved his position steadily rounding the turn, but had little left when the real racing began. MONTAGE was never a factor.
