Four French Epsom Derby Hopes Beaten at Longchamp PARIS, France, May 21 Reuters. — f Four French horses entered in the Epsom Derby were beaten in the ,200 Prix Noailles Three-Year-Old Produce Stakes over 11 furlongs at Longchamp yesterday. One of them, Norman, finished third. The others, Corral, Turquin and Va Vite were behind in the field of seven. After the race, trainers of Va Vite and Norman said they would not run at Epsom while Marcel Boussac said he would not decide about Corral until tomorrow. The winer was Baron V. Hauzers The-lus, by Escamille-Thessalie, who beat Francois Dupres Corsair by a neck with Ernest Masurels Norman two and one-half lengths further back in third place.
