Stallion Siskiyou Breaks Leg and Is Destroyed One of the best-known sires in harness racing, Siskiyou, owned by the late Henry Knauf, Ladd, HI., was destroyed last week due to a broken leg suffered in his stall during the night. The 28-year-old Illinois sire had become a by-word in harness circles. Many of his offspring carry the name of Siskiyou to all parts of the country. His worthines was proved by the fact that he was active as a stud stallion until last year.
