J. Kelly; bred by H. L Donovan. WENT TO POST-5:47. OFF AT 5:48 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won easily; second and third driving. THRIFTY PAT improved her position steadily to engage the leader nearing the stretch, assumed command and drew clear to be an easy winner. BAY CREEK, away tardily and a trailer early, was caught in close quarters while attempting to rally along the backstretch and on the turn, was taken up and sent outside of MIRIAMS BOY, then was unable to menace the top one. INN KEEPER assumed a clear lead long the backstretch, held sway to the three-sixteenths pole and weakened. COGORT raced forwardly and weakened. MIRIAMS BOY held a favorable position but failed to respond. JAMBON BONES quit. ELSIE MAR had brief speed and was .outdistanced in the final stages.
