Suspend Two Yonkers Drivers YONKERS, N. Y., May-21.— Lawrence Powers and Clifford Burgett, two drivers who raced at the Yonkers Raceway, were suspended for 30 days each yesterday by the New York State Harness Racing Commission for "conduct detrimental to the best interests of the sport." The suspensions run from May 11 to June 9. Two other drivers, William Haughton and Albert Simon had been called before the investigation but were reinstated. The commission, in its report, said, "Its investigation arose out of a statement made by -. r * ■ Burgett concerning Powers and other drivers at Yonkers, one allegation of which had some corroboration.
