The race will be contested at approximately two and one-half miles over the brush course and carries a purse of 00. Lampton will be in the saddle for the Lexington, Ky., patrons. Grandtrap, also owned by the Lexington couple has been named for the race, but it is believed he will be scratched in order to participate in the Oldham County Hounds Timber race, an event more suited to his capabilities. He will be ridden by Charles "Chick" Jelke, young Chicagoan who skillfully rode Grandtrap to victory in the Iroquois Me- morial at Nashville recently. j Austin Brown has named his good jumper Foxy Poise and the Michigan owner will ride his own entry. T. B. Satterwhite, of Versailles, named Melissa, winner of jthe Point to Point, at the Carmargo Hunt a few weeks back. D. Cummins will be represented by Prairie Imp, victor in the Block House Steeplechase at Tryon. Tom Oliver will be in the saddle. Dr. John Youmans, of Nashville, Tenn., has named his champion brush horse, Storm Hour, for the event. In 1950 Storm Hour captured both this fixture and the Iroquois Memorial.
