Trotters Go at Bay Meadows SAN MATEO, Calif .—The trotters have now taken over the track at Bay Meadows recently vacated by the thoroughbreds. A 35-day standardbred meeting opened last week at the popular mile oval after an absence of two years. Over 700 head of harness horses, representing 19 states, are now stabled there for the opening of the West Coast season.
