HUNTING FOX, in close attendance to the pace from the start, was wisely sent to the inside when JAZERANT went wide, then outfinished his rival. JAZERANT set the pace while being rated, went slightly wide and was outgamed. SUN GODDESSS raced forwardly, but failed to respond through the stretch. SABBATICAL failed to threaten. TURNPIKE broke badly and had little chance. SIR HELIOS raced evenly. VENTURESOME was always far back. NETHERBY held a-favorable position, but drifted out when set down for the stretch run. PRINCE RANSOM was much used dueling with BROWN FOX early and weakened. SUNSET JEWEL caught tired horses. TACARO was allowed to lag during the early stages, moved through along the inside while improving his position and wore down the tiring FREE AND EQUAL. The latter raced the other speed horses into defeat to draw clear after five furlongs, then faltered badly MAKE HAY was outrun for the lead and weakened. CAVALIER TRIM raced evenly. BLACK AL outsprinted the opposition early, tlrew far clear on the turn and was under pressure to hold MANOTHEHOUR safe. The latter closed well along the inside to be getting to the top one. TEDDYS LIGHT closed with good energy after being slow to settle into stride. STANS HELEN could not menace the top three. COUNTESS LEA displayed good early speed and may improve. SEA FAN, placed in position after considerable difficulty, outsprinted the field, turned back the stubborn challenge of QUIZ SONG and drew clear slightly under continued pressure. QUIZ SONG raced just off the leader from the start, but was not good enough, ORB saved ground while rallying mildly. VINNIE caught tired horses. TIDES broke tardily, advanced to a forward position, but had nothing in reserve. TEA TOKEN weakened after displaying speed along the inside. KINGS LANE was outrun. . SIXTH RACE 1 M6 MILES.
