BOWLED OVER, on the outside to the last three-eighths, was sent to the inner rail entering the stretch and, responding to mild urging, disposed of MISS MICARIDA and won going away. SICKLE BABY, away slowly, moved up fast after the start, gradually improved position thereafter, but could not get to the top one. BLABBER MOUTH raced evenly to the stretch, finished well under punishment, but could not overtake SICKLE BABY.- BEAU K00 raced wide through the stretch. WINSTAY tired after racing prominently to the stretch. HALCYON CROSS lacked early speed. MISS MICARIDA began fast, made the pace to the last eighth, then weakened. LT. BILL engaged MISS MICARIDA for a half mile, but had nothing left for the drive. TOP VALLEY could not keep up. MEL INDIAN was through early. ROBIN RED went to the front at H the start, established a good lead before, reaching the stretch, but was vigorously handled during the drive ■ and lasted to hold PUSSY WILLOW safe. The latter saved ground when outrun to the stretch, was sent between H horses during the drive and, closing fast, was getting to the winner at the finish, just missing. LATE BREEZE ■ moved up boldly nearing the stretch, held on willingly when set down in the drive and had no mishap- in a sharp H effort. SLAMARANTH went wide at the stretch turn and could not get to the leaders when straight for the ■ drive. RIPTON tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. BOLARIS was -hustled to the front early, raced DACCORD into defeat before reaching the stretch, then held on gamely under £ brisk handling to withstand YOICKS. The latter, rank before entering the stall gate, began slowly and gradually _ worked way forward, finishing fast in a sharp effort. FERTILE LANDS broke well, then raced evenly to the stretch, but could not better his position when set down in the drive. ALPHARA lacked early speed and raced wide. DOGS UP was never a serious factor. DACCORD engaged BOLARIS for a half mile, then weakened. ILLUSTRATE drifted out during the last three-eighths mile. FANCY FLYER saved ground while in hand to the last three-eighths mile, came out slightly for the drive and, responding readily to urging, wore down KINGS HOPE to win going away. KINGS HOPE was sent to the- front early, made the pace to the stretch under good rating, held on willingly when set down for the drive, but was. unable to withstand the winner, although easily best of the others, turning in a sharp performance. OUR REQUEST, reserved to the stretclvfhade a mild bid at the final turn, but could not better her position thereafter.
