Horses to Watch Horses who impressed Daily Racing Form representatives as being ready, to win: ARLINGTON PARK JENNIE LEE — Three-year-old miss has been training cleverly since arrival from Kentucky. Appears to have retained winning form. JANINA-Comes from smartly trained unit, which sends its members postward fit and ready. Is at best at intermediate distance on the turf. BONRILLiA-— Defeated the narrowest of margins in latest engagement and that one should have served as a tightener. FLEETERTHAN — Has been knocking at the victory door and improvement with additional racing can be expected. PRINCESS LYGIA — This juvenile miss is undefeated in two starts and appears capable of turning back better fillies on the grounds. WEE FOURS — Ordinary plater made up world of ground to the rear of Timus in sprint test and appears ready for creditable distance effort. BLUE LICKS — Two-year-old maiden displayed speed in Chicago area debut and should not be much longer in earning initial set of brackets. CLEVELANDER — Slight drop in classification is all that is needed to assure victory for. this better - than - average sprinter. FLYAMANITA— First start following a lengthy rest was creditable. Probably needed that one to attain peak condition. MEDIANT— Well-bred youngster flashed high early speed, in first appearance at Washington Park. May forget to stop next time if properly rated. SAINT NICHOLAS— Has always shown a ; decided partiality for local course. Re- j cent six furlong work in 1:14 indicates readiness. MARCH PROUDLY— This allowance performer has been training cleverly and could score at next asking if not too ambitiously placed. FINE FETTLE— Connections should find a suitable spot for this ,500 to ,000 distance plater in near future. Goes well on the grass course. PROP— Forced to take the complete overland route when making belated stretch bid last time. Better racing luck is all that is needed. * HADNT ORTER— Disregard last, which was contested over a heavy strip. Merits another chance against similar rivals. WINE LIST — This Trotsek-trained stake performer has displayed speed in recent morning trials. Is fit and ready for future engagements. DETROIT MISS DETROIT— Moves up several lengths on muddy strip and recently breezed five furlongs through soft going in 1:05. FRENCH ROCKET— Startled dockers the other morning when stepping a half mile in :48% handily. TRY IKE— Recent five-eighths mile work in 1:00%. handily indicates this quick sprinter is returning to top form. LITTLE XS— Useful plater when not pitched too high. Turned in sharp five furlongs move in 1:10 handily. HUMPHREY— First start here this year against Our Kite was excellent effort and will improve off that outing. OMIPAL— Four-year-old maiden should earn brackets during current meeting when dropped in with cheapest class sprinters. JOES LADDIE-Finished strongly in mile and one-sixteenth race. Ready to whip ordinary band. HEART FLASH— Displayed good speed in Oakland Hills Purse and may have been trifle short, needing the race. SORORITY — Grissom mare is in fine form at present and her race behind Ringador should serve as tightener for winning trip. COTTON JOE— Belongs with ,000 grade platers and can handle muddy or dry strip for six furlongs. GRANDMAS DAY— Lacked early foot when beaten by Tule One, by capable of beating same field next time out. DATE BOOK— Comes from smartly trained stable and should annex purse here when matched with ,500 company at three-quarters mile. McGRATHlANA — Two-year-old maiden from the Tom Young barn raced greenly in initial outing, but due for early graduation. CHIEF JOHN O.— Improved middle distance racer was beaten short margin in recent start. Is ready for -brackets. FOURTEEN GRAND — Steady-going performer at mile or over. Races well on any type footing. BELMONT PARK SKIN TONIC— Overmatched in latest. Likes mud but wants ,000 claiming company. HE BTTiTiEE — Could score a surprise tally when competing with ,500 claiming sprinters. NORTHAMPTON— Was pinched T ack at the start in most recent try. A slight drop in company would help. NOVEL - REQUEST — Has been freshened up and appears ready for a top route effort. ELIAS G. — Turned in an improved performance last time out. Could handle ,000 claiming company. BLABEC — A ,000 claiming router who should not be-long in earning a purse. - FOR JON — A cheap sort of sprinter who was denied a victory by a narrow mar- j gin in most recent appearance. OUR DORIE — Morning trials have been impressive. Lost all chance when bothered at the start in lone outing here. EASY WHIRL— A fair sort of allowance sprinter wha encountered poor racing luck in latest racing attempt. MAXIMAL— This ,500 claiming sprinter appeared a trifle short of a top effort when third to Spy Ring. LADY IN BLUE — Closed impressively after a slow beginning. Should not be long in leaving the non-winners ranks. MOP UP— Returned to competition after a rest period and closed strongly. Seven furlongs or longer is desired. GLAD TIME — Had good speed for better than a half mile in lone try here and may have needed the outing. DELAWARE PARK GORGEOUS REDED— Track conditions apparently were against this filly when beaten as a favorite. CORNWALL — Regained winning form in last and may continue to improve over a fast track. | BIR ACKETM — Recent race suggests this one is ready for brackets when stretched out a bit. " x G. R. PETERSEN— Last two" efforts have been good and suggest graduation in near future. TOP STEP — Displayed speed in debut, tired badly and was green when placed to pressure. LISTEN TIGER — Had a rough trip in last bust showed well enough to suggest a victory when she drifted out. BIRCHTE — Has weakened in both local engagements but may carry her speed farther over a fast track. CHLOE — Roughed about considerably in recent engagement and is capable of beating field of similar value. CENSORSHIP— Closed impressively in last and should beat maidens of ,000 or , less. GREAT SHUFFLE— Has always been partial to local racing strip. Morning trials attest to fitness. VARODI — Has been carefully prepped for a successful return to action. EABANI — A two-year-old who has been working four furlongs in :48%, which is - enough endorsement. STEPS GIRL— The manner in which this miss handled an "off" track in her last should be enough to give her the call against same opposition. NEWSWEEKLY— Has been training very good and an- early return to winners circle is evident. THIS FAR — Ran to recent trials in Delaware but may have been in need of the race. Rates another chance. MONMOUTH PARK CUTTING EDGE— The six furlongs in 1:16 he turned in over a muddy track here a couple of days ago assures his fitness at the first asking. AGARIAN-U — Aging sprinter still has plenty of lick, but the track must be fast. PLAY TOY— One of the swiftest sprinters on this circuit. Only the best will top him. MANCHAC — Morning trials indicate that this one is on his toes for a top effort at any distance. SANTAS VIXEN— Plater appears to have retained the good form he displayed at Garden State Park and should be right near the money. MISS HASTE— Proper placing will make i this mare a tough one to beat. JOEY BOY— A return to the sprint distances should regain him his winning form. ORPHEAN— Former jumper appears to be steadily improving and he may be able to handle slightly better company. WINGY— Always consistent and should earn his way here. ONCE ONLY — Has turned in some nice morning trials and may be better than indicated. SUPER-SALESMAN— Mud will suit this one, but is in form to show well under any conditions. FAIRMOUNT PARK MUCHO MANANA — Flashed good speed in recent outing. Drop in class is all he needs. SIMPLE SIMON — Appears to be reaching top form. * Should top a cheap band of routers. CAPT. PATTI— Last outing indicates this campaigner is nearing top form. SEA SWEET— Early morning trials puts this sprinter in the early win class. EVIDENCE— Steady performer and is of the consistent type. Should reach the winners circle soon. STATIC CHASER— Appeared a trifle short in last attempt. Should better next test. MR. R. S. — This* campaigner has flashed sharp early speed in recent puting and should top a mediocre-band of sprinters at a distance under six furlongs. SAXON DOOR — Did not appear to favor the footing in his last attempt but is ready for his best effort on a track of firm footing. BO-CO— Outdistanced a fair field and should repeat with a winning endeavor. MILO — This steady campaigner has been knocking at the door and should top a cheap claiming field should he be placed right. WARY MARY— Seems to be rounding into top form. An off track should greatly enhance this route running mare. COURT GRAND— A clever juvenile that, won very impressively in only outing here. OMAHA WONGERRA — Old-time speed merchant that should be hard to beat five-eighths mile. VORNADO — Was in close quarters last out and finished second beaten a nose. Will give a good account with same class I of horses next time out. : CHUCKALONG — Seemed trifle short in last distance race; should improve off that effort. BORDER CHARGE— Traveled a half-mile in :48and from the gate shows this two-year-old is ready for a winning performance. DEWEY H. — Had a rough trip last outing; with better racing luck should be hard to beat. FAT.T.TES SON— Has a touch of class and was in close quarters last time out. ROUSING NIGHT— Last race shows this mare is about to reach* peak form. Prefers slow or heavy track. WAY THE BEST— Was much used up set-[ ting fast pace in last outing, but should ! be hard to beat if not pitted to high. BREATH TAKER— Old-timer with a touch of class and recent races shows he is ready for vanning effort. LATE COLOR— Did a half-mile in :48% from gate. Needs a mile or over and ,000 company. RABBIT EARS— Was closing fast last out; should give good account if riot overmatched. PAIR O ROSES — Clocked three-eighths in :35% in morning trial. Will be hard to beat next out.
