Mrs. James- Fitzsimmons, Wife of Trainer, Dies BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., June 16. — Racing clans extended their sympathies to the venerable Jim Fitzsimmons of Sheepshead Bay when the news of the death of Mrs. Fitzsimmons became known. She was the former Jennie Harvey 1 of Gloucester, N. J., but had been on the ailing list for the past 20 years. The Fitzsimmonses were married at Gloucester in 1892 and when they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their Sheepshead Bay home were surrounded by their sons John, James, George, Harvey, Harold and daughter, Edith, and their grand and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fitzsimmons was stricken last night and when the family physician was summoned he, upon his arrival, pronounced her dead. The remains are at the family home and a requiem mass will be celebrated at St. Marks Church, Ocean Ave., Sheepshead Bay on Tuesday morning at 10 oclock with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
