FERRYMAN, away alertly, was rated off the leaders in the early stages, moved to the leader entering the stretch and got up under a hard drive. RAMPAGEOUS, rated well off the early pacemaker, overtook that one on the final turn, to move into command but was unable to withstand the drive of the winner. EXPECTANT sprinted into a long early lead but stopped badly. JACKS NEEN was away sluggishly and showed little. PETERUN showed a flash of early speed, as did GOLD CHAMP. WOODVALE HILLS raced in close attendance to the leader, but was no match when set down leaving the turn. RIVULETTE made up some ground on the backstretch, but failed to rally further under a drive. The latter, eased back off the early pace, remained in reserve until straightened for the drive, then finished gamely. MIDNIGHT QUEEN, slow to begin, moved forwardly placed on the backstretch, but could not menace. ODDS. ADVANCE tired from early efforts. FIGHTING HOME stopped badly. BANK DRIVE vas never a factor. WISE MARGIN started move on the final turn, raced into close quarters on the inside in the final sixteenth while closing strongly, but lacked ample racing room.
