Hertzes Visit Garden State GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J.f -May 31. Mr. and Mrs. John D. Hertz, whose colors have been carried to numerous stakes victories both in this country and abroad, made their very first visit to the Camden course this afternoon to watch Mrs. Hertz" Speedy Wave compete in the Colonial Handicap. The Hertzes were taken on a tour of the plant by president Gene Mori. Hertz was unstinting in his praise of New Jerseys pioneer race track, praising, its smooth, efficient operation and its general picturesqueness. He expressed himself, as being pleasantly surprised by the comparatively short motor trip from New York " to this track. , .
