LYNMAR held the. lead under steadying restraint to the final quarter mile, then drew out when roused and was under intermittent urging to win. HEDYS BEST showed speed from the outset and held on tenaciously. ROSEMERE LASS came through along the inside to better her late position. BROOMAN lacked a late rally. The latter drew clear under light urging, saved ground on the turn, responded when challenged and held on stubbornly. JUNIOR CHIC, a forward factor, was unable to make up appreciable ground with a late rally. BILL W. broke tardily, was rushed up on the outside but failed to reach serious contention. NITIME, slow to begin, started moving up on the final turn and closed stoutly. SAM CEE BEE had speed from the outset, was steadied when unable to go along with the leader, came inside for the drive but was not good enough. WITH FLASH worked her way up along the inside in a good effort. IRANIAN, between horses down the backstretch, came wide on the final turn and failed to rally under stout urging. OUR EMBLEM gained a forward position soon after the start, was kept in hand while saving ground, then moved out when put to a drive and was along to overtake ROYAL MORSE in the final yards. The latter drew clear at once, increased his advantage and held on gamely when challenged, but was not Sfbod enough. SHAMROCK slipped through along the inside vith a belated rush. TOMBOUCTOU was unable to menace-with a late rally. SUPPER BUG was taken back and placed under stout restraint, then began moving up on the far turn and came outside, but lacked anally. BLACK BOUNTY had no mishap. TRIPLE BELLS was never prominent. DARLING DADDY was outrun. The latter, quickest to begin, was steadied down the backstretch, came outside for the drive and was closing with good energy. ROYAL BATTLE, forwardly placed on the outside of the leader, made a bid nearing the final turn, was unable to overtake the leader and weakened slightly in the late stages. GOLDEN ADMIRAL moved up along the inside in the early stages, stayed close to the pace for a half mile but was unable to make up ground in the drive. FLYING CHIEF had no mishap. PATRICK, unhurried In the early stages while racing on the outside, was sent between horses on the far turn, came on the outside of the leaders after reaching contention and closed stoutly to gain the lead inside the final sixteenth. DECATHLON assumed command at once, v/as under stout restraint on the turns, opened a clear lead after shaking off the challenge of FLIGHT HISTORY nearing the furlong pole, then was unable to cope with the winner. NANS MINK, never far off the pace and saving ground, rallied along the inside when roused and finished with good energy. FLIGHT HISTORY was sent at the leader after three furlongs, pressed for command into the stretch and weakened. RADIO ROME was favorably placed and failed to resoond when called on. EASTGATE would not extend himself when roused. SKEPTICAL KID went evenly. ITOBE broke alertly, was steadied while racirig~ori the outside and appeared to bolt on the final turn. ILITE weakened. SINGER, fractious at the gate, went in the air at the start and was never a factor. COMMODORE M., a forward factor, moved up on the outside under a drive and was pressing the leaders in the final yards. MR. FIRST worked his way up along the inside in an excellent effort. SEVEN CHANCES made up ground in the final stages. HALF SHELL weakened after a mild challenge. ANNS LOVE a trailer until the far turn was unabte to threaten. CHUCK THOMPSON was outrun.
