Horses to Watch Horses wfio impressed Daily Racing Form representatives as being ready to w/n; SPORTSMANS PARK MAMBO — Was in much trouble in recent race and shouldnt have lost. May get a better break next time. HOOPDEDONT— Probably needed initial outing here. Was first start in some time and finished fast on the outside. CHEROKEE PILOT— Appears to be working up to a good effort. Has been coming from behind in short races. EMARJAY — They evidently found this ones hole card. Likes to run from behind. Could win another soon. QUICK LAD— Moved too late in last start but was going fast on the outside at the end. Will be dangerous with a heads up ride. I MAE— Appears to be in pretty fair shape right now and has a royal chance to come through at a good price. STONEY CREEK— Probably wants to go a mile or over. Closed gamely in recent outing. Runs for ,000 claiming price. LUCK O NIGHT— Ran away a half-mile the other day and then came back with a fair effort. Might be worth tabbing. ENGLISH LAD — Appears to be in excellent condition following a few months rest. Was a winner by six lengths last week. Could beat better. REVETMENT— Went wide on stretch turn in last race and weakened. Is about due to come through with a good one. ARK-KY-TEX— Stumbled while making a move nearing the stretch turn in recent race. Can do a little better than shown. SCREEMIN JACK— Could win one of those ,500 claiming races. Finished fast in last. churchTlT DOWNS CYNTHIA SUE— This three-year-old filly came from well back to finish second in a recent mile and one-sixteenth race. Prefers ,000 class rivals. YONSHU — Maiden two-year-old has been showing well in morning trials. He appears due for an early graduation. SMACKOVER— Bore in badly in last start and was disqualified. He may have needed that race for a tightener. ALI O. K. — Quick three-year-old colt comes from a well-trained barn, dockers caught him a half mile in :47 last Saturday morning. _ HOMEPLACE — Well bred three -year-old colt is rapidly approaching peak form. He stepped three-quarters mile here in 1:13%, handily. EVENING TEMPO— Well conformed three-year-old gelding just missed in recent sprint. His morning trials are on the quick side. MARKET TIP— Ordinary plater, always gives a good effort. He had bad racing luck in race behind Cotton TopT" SEA O ERIN— Hasty House Farm stakes j I star failed to race to top form in Churchill Downs handicap. Tab for improvement. HASSEYAMP A— Former stakes winner has the class to hold his own with good company. He worked a mile in 1:45. on good . track quite handily last week. ABASCUS— Paddock stable plater is always dangerous when matched with ,000 rivals and handles muddy or dry track. * SUPREME MUSIC— Speedy three-year-old filly gave a sharp effort last week in a six furlongs event. She belongs with ,000 grade platers. CEBETTE— Well conformed mare had a rough trip when defeated last week by Bruce. Capable of trimming same class field. JAMAICA MISSION ROAD — Improving with every start and should find his way to the winners circle in the immediate future. JOLLY JACK— Turned in a good effort against topnotchers recently. Should trounce maidens with authority. PAULAS TEX— Raced a trifle wide in first start here. Look for sharp improvement when sent back against same type of opposition. HALF SHELL— A useful sort that is approaching top form rapidly. This plater can sprint or carry his speed over a distance of ground. ELLIOTTS MAGIC— Raced greenly in debut. With that race under her belt this filly should earn brackets pronto. ANCHOR MAN— Just missed in a sharp performance a few days back. This veteran has a touch of class arid should outrun ,000 routers. ADEN— Evidently needed his last race after a long lay-off. There are a flock of-spots in the condition book made to-order for him. DOUBLE X. — Just missed in one of the fastest races run over track for juveniles. This colt is due to earn his diploma real soon. BARITONE BOB— Raced evenly in 5fr debut. With the expected improvement he should be heard from when pitted with ,000 opposition. JUNGLE BUNNY— On the cheap side, but that wont keep her from making the grade when placed with ,500 platers. FOLDING MON— Last race was too bad to be true. Just needs a slight drop in classification to show the best advantaged • Moves up on "off" track. MINUS TWO — Connections are mighty high on this lad. Just needs to break alertly to enter the charmed circle. GARDEN STATE PARK BOLD AND FAIR— May prove a profitable claim for trainer Tommy Heard. In first but of the season, the Bold.Venture gelding displayed good speed. DANCE SPIN — Turned in best race of his brief career in last outing and should not have to wait too long to earn graduation to winners ranks. WELL SEASONED— Local outing stamps this miss as an early graduate from non-winners group. Slight improvement would be enough to beat same caliber as she recently opposed. RUMBLE — Has been showing enough in morning trials to endorse his chances at first asking. GROUND WORK — A three-year-old which Max Hirsch has on the grounds and who lias displayed enough to warrant consideration in next outing. PEGGYS BRANDY. — Has been doing everything asked of her in morning trials. GALDAR-A useful handicap performer in the bam of W. C. Prickett. The five-year-old son of Rustom Sirdar proved his second to Swaps at Gulfstream was not a fluke by coming back to win the closing day feature at the Florida track. DUSTY DRIVE — A useful plater who should earn his share of purses during current meeting. Trials indicate his fitness. BAGGAGE — A. juvenile in trainer Oscar Whites group which is regarded as a swift runner. DI-ORE-MODEL — Slight interference in her last outing probably cost her any chance of finishing closer. Was going to the leaders on final turn when taken up sharply. LAUREL RACE COURSE NAHODAH — Has continued to train well following his extremely rough trip in the Chesapeake Stakes. SKEPTICAL KID — Conditioning moves over the Pimlico strip following fairly successful Florida campaign assures present fitness. RICCI TAVI — Morning moves over the Pimlico track indicate this one is ready for seasonal bow. ALFORD — Has been well prepped for racing over the Pimlico turf course, for which he showed a distinct fondness last fall, STAFFORDSHIRE — Single outing at Laurel says this one is ready for a top effort against allowance sprinters. BAD CONDUCT — Sprinted in first northern appearance this spring and raced well enough to suggest victory in next. BEAU DANCE— Placed in first start and should enjoy early graduation from the jmaiden ranks. FUSION — Three-year-old maiden is credited with two good efforts this spring and appears ready to earn brackets. BOYCHIK — Had no chance with the poor start last time out and may surprise with improved effort. LETMEGO — Proved no match for Salix in the slop the other day but shapes rp as a prospect for the winners circle. LINCOLN~DOWNS ANOTHER HEART — Encountered interference going to first turn and was forced to be taken up. Still showed a commendable effort. RED RED ROBIN — Has had the benefit of a conditioning race. Should show to good advantage in next appearance. SUNSHINE SWIV— Appears ready for a visit to the winners circle. Showed a promising effort when finishing second to Hasty Royal in last. IN CLASS — Was away poorly from gate last time out. An alert getaway could see this one home in front. , . BATTLE MOUNT— Raced to best, form when beaten a head in prior outing. Looms a solid threat when meeting the same calibre of opposition. LADY REDBIRD — Encountered rough going from the drop of the flag in last. Is much better than that race would indicate. NANCAROL — A fast working juvenile that could be successful in one of her early starts. LAST JACDPO — A maiden three-year-old that closed a good gap in last race, point-him out for an improved effort in next start. ZIPPER — May have needed seasonal debut. Can handle a band of ,000 plater over the sprint distance. UNCLE DON— Will appreciate a distance test now that he has shown a return to form. Showed an improved effort over the seven furlong distance in last outing. . forTmiami BIG VINCENT— Turned in a commendable effort in last to be beaten only a length for the entire spoils. May atone for that defeat at the first asking. MISS SMITH— Is rounding to form and ► should grace the winners circle in very -i near future. DEFICIT— Is improving steadily as his most recent effort indicates. Tab for early victory. TTME-SABU — Turned in a satisfactory performance in most recent encounter and should have little trouble whipping a band of the same caliber shortly. DISMAED— Just missed in last and a winning performance should be in the offing very soon. ANNAMAE L. — Was barely beaten at the wire the last lime she faced the starter and may make amends for that loss next time she is entered. McCRACKEN BOY — Continues to train satisfactorily and a trip to the charmed circle appears to be imminent in a few days. INTERFERE— Showed vast improvement in latest endeavor only to be beaten a scant nose at the wire. Should be capable .of garnering a purse next week. MY REPLY— Has plenty of zip and should account for a purse soon when entered in a distance affair. JACKLYN— Beaten a neck for it all recently. Is likely to take the major portion of a purse real soon. Worth tabbing. FAIRMOUNT PARK . MISS ZENITH— That race after her opening night performance should be thrown out. Ready to earn brackets. CASINOVA— Fit and ready for one of those six furlong dashes. Was tried over a route of ground several nights ago but the distance was not favorable. ALAGA— Few ,000 claiming horses here capable of "taking her measure. Did not run her race last week. HOPEFUL SAM— Needed opening night race when he finished third in the Inaugural Handicap. The same way weighted will make him dangerous. FLITTING ROD— Eligible to race for non-winners in 1956. Runs with the ordinary -kind and is at the top of his form. TEAL — Indications were this one needed that previous race here. Appeared to be a little short and that try should be beneficial in next performance. DICTIONARY— Had a successful campaign this past winter. That second to I Froo was a good one and should improve in next, DUM DUM— Not much hide but dockers report this one doing well in morning trials. Had little chance to do best here last week when practically left at the _ post. BARRE VICTORY — Had he kept a straight course and not attempted to bear-in in the stretch could have scored his first victory of the meeting. Will give the 500 claimers lots of trouble the remainder" of the meeting. ROLLINS KAPPY— In need of racing, -as indicated in first appearance. Was eased when beaten, but had. her usual early flight, arid it wont be long now before she gains her best form. INKY DINK— A disappointment in first start here but another in need of racing. Last Wednesday nights effort was first outing in nearly a year and gave a creditable performance. ASCOT PARK NANCY E — Last two outings showed considerable improvement. Has a touch of class and should go well when the track reaches normal again. WESTVILLE JACK— Was a little late in making his move last Wednesday, yet was beaten only a slim margin. Next race may find him in the winners circle after a strong stretch run. HILLTOP II.— Has been consistently well regarded in the betting, but -the track has been "off." Tab for a stronger performance when the strip dries out. AMERICAN PILOT— Was pulled up very sharply midway down the back stretch the last time. More racing luck should help. PLAY DIP— Has had but two outings in his career. Could graduate from the maiden ranks in the very near future. PARDAL— Was carried wide in the last, then was unable to make up the lost ground. Has been a rather consistent sort and should reach top form in the next effort. MR. BRILLIANT— Has displayed some early foot while going over a "heavy" racing strip. An honest sort who usually earns a portion when not too ambitiously placed. MINE BANK — All outings here were fine. Graduated from the maiden ranks and turned in two seconds. Can be expected to ascend the scale and continue his good form. ETERNAL BOY— Graduation ceremonies from the maiden ranks should be forthcoming the next time. Has earned two secondary portions in two outings here. THYME — A beaten odds on favorite the last time. This aged mare prefers the shorter sprints. —
