Won driving; second and third the same. RUNNING WOLF was outrun for six furlongs, but was not rushed, then moved on the outside nearing the stretch turn to challenge OLYMPIAS ACE in the last thirty yards and won narrowly, but interfered with the latter in the closing strides for which he was disqualified and placed second. OLYMPTAS ACE was well rated early and got to the front when ready, nearing the stretch w turn to open up, then saved ground and might have finished first but for the interference suffered. WILL SEE YA was badly outrun-early and passed weakening horses. RED BUSHER tired in the stretch. STEVEN S headed the field momentarily on the backstretch and then weakened. SIXTY TWO alternated with APPROPRIATE in setting the pace for the first six furlongs, then shook off the latter around the stretch turn, but was required to withstand I several challenges in the last furlong in order to win. LAUREL KING came strongly on the outside after entering j the stretch and raced gamely to the end. SQUIRE WILSON was rated early, raced -into close quarters around 1 the far turn and was eased, then came to the inside in the stretch to finish well. TOHIL moved sjeadjly on the outside after entering the last eighth and loomed as a likely winner fifty yards out, but seemed to hang in the trfmal drive. APPROPRIATE was used up early and tired after going six furlongs. NORAS WATCH trailed throughout in a dismal effort. Scratched— 794B83 Stoney Creek; 114. Overweight— Noras Watch, 1 pound. STARBOROUGH moved well on the outside in the stretch and was not beaten very far for second place.
