Dickens Big Day LAUREL, Md., May 5.— Bernard Lee Dickens, 18-year-old apprentice from Chev-erly, Md., finished first for the first time in his riding career at Laurel on Friday when he drove Holly Bough to victory in the final race. Dickens broke his maiden when moved up on a disqualification two days earlier. Both his parents were at Laurel to witness his first winning mount. William Zakoor hold the contract on Dickens and plans to take youngster to Pimlico and Hazel Park.
