J. establishment of Mr. and Mrs. James Logue, reports the _ arrival on April 24 of a dark brown filly by Lota white out of Vichysoisse, a daughter of the top sire Thumbs Up Blenheim II. — Gas Bag . Lotawhite, a running son of Devil Driver, is owned by J. W. Bowley of Burling-ton. "Vichysoisse i s owned jointly by veteran Kentucky horseman Clyde Pardue and stable owner Logue. Another mare owned by the partnership, Susan G. Challenge Me — Jobelle, is a full sister to the stakes winning mare Miss Joanne and will drop a Lotawhite foal any day. Hideaway Stable is located one mile from the Atlantic City race course and has been standing Lotawhite for three years. His first crop of two-year-olds will make their appearances this season. AAA The Thoroughbred Horse Breeders Association of New Jersey has been authorized by the New Jersey Racing Commission to raise fees for the registration of Jersey-breds. With the approval of the commission, the fee for foals registered before April 1 of their two-year-old year is 0, and application for registration thereafter has been set at 0. The ruling is effective as of May 1, 1956. In the first three days of racing, Jersey-breds at the spring meeting at Garden State Park have accounted for one win, three seconds and five thirds, and include P. Ficheras Piquanette who took honors on May 1; Jay Dee Stables Bill W.; Apres Moi, a four-year-old owned by Mar -Ann Stables; Hello Pop of Colonial Farms; Eat-ontown, the veteran in Alfred Roberts string; Rising Sun Stables Lustre Proof; the Bertbruce Stables Chanclies, J. J. Colandos Cameo and Greenlane Stables Jo n Jo. AAA The two-year-old Jersey- bred, Miss Winston Attention-Clam Island, by Case Ace, the "Mystery Miss" filly bought at auction last summer by A. Stanley Miller at the Monmouth Park Charity Ball, proved her worth last Tuesday in the third race at Laurel when she won in her first start. Donated to the annual charity event by Harbourton thoroughbred breeder Joseph M. Roeblihg, Miss Winston was won by the Belleville stockbroker in a spirited bidding session at the ball for ,300. At Jack Delaneys Del Brier Farm in Shrewsbury, the Sir Gallahad HE. mare Disturbance has dropped a chestnut filly by Count Flame. Colonel Edmund Bixers mare Rowena Roman and Elkcam Farms mare Wideyed dropped a Count Flame colt and filly, respectively. James Bragg, Connecticut horseman, has sent three mares to Delaneys breeding center: Honey Crest Ladysman and Marg Grier John P. Grier are booked to Count Flame, and Chipshot Chance Shot will go to Best Seller.
