Woodview Ace Repeater In Sprint at Ascot Park Holds Sway Throughout to Beat Heart Flash by Margin of Neck By W. A. CRUSE ASCOT PARK. Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio., May 7. — W. J. Bills* Woodview Ace turned in his second consecutive victory here this afternoon in the fifth race. Under the guidance of jockey Thomas Lattarulo, the Free for All gelding was a neck the best of T. Gammons Heart Flash and jockey Buck Thornburg. Clocked on the Ascot Course in :52% to be a second off the track record, he returned a .80 mutuel as the favorite. P. F. Fischers As-Ye-Sow graduated from the maiden ranks as a result of his effort in the first race on this afternoons card. Under Sal Chiappettas pressure, he had a neck on Mrs. M. Mezens Honey Skelter, who had the saddle services of the popular and promising young reinsman, apprentice Michael Koptyra.
