Plans Australian Syndicate To Buy Ribot for ,344,000 [Special to Daily Racing Form SYDNEY, Australia, May 7 I Reuters. — An Australian bloodstock official has plans to buy Ribot, the Italian wonder horse, for stud duties in Australia. Mr. L. Gray. Australian manager of the International Bloodstock Agency, said here today he planned to seek 50 breeders or businessmen In Australia to put up a total t f 600.000 Australian pounds ,344,000 to offer for the unbeaten Ribot. Gray said he believed Ribot would soon be available for sale despite repeated refusals of all offers in the past by his co-owners in Italy. Under Grays plan each of the 50 shareholders in the proposed syndicate would have the right to send one mare to Ribot each year.
