Faulkner Rides Four Winners And Volzke Three at Meadows BAY MEADOWS, San Mateo, Calif., May 7. — Between them jockeys Merrill Faulkner and Mervin Volzke rode seven of the eight winners on Mondays program at Bay Meadows. Faulkner found his way to the winners circle four times and Volzke rode three successful mounts. Faulkners winning mounts were Hi- Socks in the first race. Amble Klip in the second, Cotton Crop in the sixth and High Tor in the seventh. Volzke scored with All Man in the fourth, Sahib in the fifth and Black Rascal in the eighth. The only other winner of the afternoon, Days End in the I third, was ridden by Bud Zollinger.
