Ward at Beulah Awaiting Opening of Meet Saturday GROVE CITY, Ohio. May 7.— Jockey Paul A. Ward, who is well on his way to becoming the all-time favorite of Beulah Park railbirds. is on the grounds awaiting the start of Beulahs 19-day spring session Saturday. Ward has been the jockey champion of three of Beulahs last five meetings, including the 44-day session last fall. Dean Wymer. Wards agent, today said the Seymour, Ind.. saddlesmiths future plans are indefinite. There had been reports that Ward planned to leave Beulah for the 44-day meeting at ThistleDown, which opens Tuesday. May 28.
