Roger Simpson Passes Away CINCINNATI. Ohio, May 7.— Roger Simpson. 53, en ex-Negro jockey, who performed in the saddle hereabouts in the early 20s. died early this morning at the Drake Memorial Hospital here, following a long illness. He was confined to the hospital nearly 14 months suffering from a chronic ailment that caused his death. Simpson is survived by his widow. Mabel Simpson. Funeral arrangements were not completed late today.
