Balmorals Coronet, LaSalle Nominations Close Today HOMEWOOD, 111., May 7.— Horsemen were reminded today by racing secretary Fred Burton that nominations for Balmorals opening - week . stakes — the 5,000-added Coronet Stakes and the 0,000-added LaSalle Handicap — close tomorrow, Wednesday, May 8. The Coronet, scheduled for Monday, May 13, opening day, is a six-furlong sprint for three-year-old fillies. The LaSalle, for three-year-olds and upward, at six furlongs, is scheduled for Saturday, May 18.
