CHRISTMAS MUTUEL HANDLE MIAMI, Fla., Dec. 27. The great crowd that assembled at Tropical Park Christmas day poured 77,530 through the mutuels on the eight races, to set a new record for the present young season and come within a few thousands of reaching the high mark of 81,229 for December racing set on New Years Day, 1938. Over 14,000 patrons came through the turnstiles.
