The youngster gives I good promise of developing into a good rider r and can scale 103 pounds. He is under contract . to L. E. Coogle. Gordon Morrow, custodian of the jockeys t room, has fifty-one riders registered. Of f these twelve are apprentices. Apprentice T. Reno, who rode with considerable success at Tanforan and Agua ! Caliente, will have completed his suspension 1 of ten days Thursday and will be allowed i to accept mounts thereafter. Ebuford and Mad Mullah, the property of f Mrs. H. Haymaker and in charge of J. F. F Johnson, arrived Monday from Grove City, r Ohio. The following horses of Mrs. E. Hoffman a were vanned from Aurora: Prince Hawkins, Sir John K. and Fall Blaze. Mill Hand, l[ which races for John Zerbes, also made the e trip. E. Hoffman will train the quartette of f racers. E. Schwartz was fined 0 for being late e at the paddock with Yarrow in the eighth a race Monday. Jockey Ralph De Prema and apprentice e Howard Bracken arrived from Florida, and i apprentice A. Childress, who will do the e light riding for the J. J. Coughlin stable, ;, got in from Lexington. Ralph Lentini unloaded Blighter. This is s the only horse he has at present, but he e plans to replenish his stable with other r purchases during the meeting. Lentini is s also handling the book of Pat Remillard. Among other shipments that arrived today y were H. G. Woods with Pollys Folly; J. r. Bosler, with Skipaway, Shasta Love, Gate e Boy and Deenie. This quartet came from n Grove City, Ohio. B. B. Rice brought four r from Maryland. These consisted of Zode, j, Princella, Miss Maritime and Semester. r. C. O. Ray registered Bob Rack and Dark k Abbot, which will race in the interest of if C. F. Place, and L. Caywood checked in n with Gold Handle. Owners and trainers are warned not to o harbor jockey H. Roble, who left the employ y of John Marsch without permission.
