Schank, president of the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association, and Charles Bidwill, secretary of the Illinois Turf Association, were arrivals from Chicago. They plan to spend a week here and will be the Derby hosts of a number of prominent Chicagoans. The two-year-old Artistry, which C. H. Knebelkamp purchased privately a week ago, was unloaded from New York yes-etrday. He is a son of Leonardo. Col. E. R. Bradley motored over from his Idle Hour Farm yesterday and was an early morning visitor at the track. Barry Shannon and Phil Sweeney, general manager and superintendent, respectively, of Idle Hour Farm, were others over for the final trials of Burgoo King and Brother Joe. Shannon had Sam McCormick, one of the city commissioners of Lexington, as his guest. Chris FitzGerald, who will direct the sale of horses of the estate of the late Joseph Leiter to be held in the Churchill Downs paddock Friday, arrived today from New York. H. C. Riddle, trainer of Lucky Tom, J. J. Robinsons Derby colt, detrained from New York today and will personaly supervise the final training and saddling of the Master Charlie three-year-old.
