1 JAMAICA TURF NOTES $ $ Norman Tallman acting for the Newton-dale Stable sold to Frank Lema the horses Auramont and Betsy Manor. They will be shipped to Porto Rico for racing. Jockey A. Pascuma will leave Thursday for Louisville and ride Lucky Tom in the Derby. Red Face was claimed out of the sixth race Tuesday by Abe Klein for ,500 from Joe Edwards. W. T. Anderson, following Cabezos race at Louisville Tuesday, stated that the colt would not be started in the Derby, but would be returned to New York. Jockeys L. McAtee, M. Garner and A. Pascuma leave for Kentucky Friday to ride Derby mounts. John J. Robinson, New York lawyer and owner of Lucky Tom, leaves for Louisville Friday afternoon to witness the effort of his colt. The main division of the E. R. Bradley stable, minus the Derby candidates, ship to Belmont Park Thursday from Kentucky. John Frasch purchased from the Newton-dale Stable the plater Flageolet. Algernon Daingerfield circulated a petition among horsemen later to be presented to the Tariff Committee at Washington protesting against the proposed tax on admission badges.
