LOVELY HILLS assumed the lead soon after the start and, although holding on well when put to a drive, could not resist the winner. GENEVIEVE M. finished fast. BROWN MASTER closed a gap in the stretch. ANAESTHETIC acted badly at the barrier. KING MAXIM took command soon after the start, opened up a long early lead, but could not resist the winner. LORD ALGY had no mishaps. OLGA was close up throughout. KWAN YIN raced well. The latter forced the early pace and just missed. SIR ARGO was close up on the outside all the way. GRACELAND raced well. MAXIE BINDER, in close quarters on the rail almost throughout, stumbled and almost fell near the end. DUKE POHL acted badlv at the barrier and was away poorly.
