LIST OF SHANDON FARM FOALS Majority Claim Sun Flag as Their Sire Burning Blaze Mated This Spring. , LEXINGTON, Ky., May 30. Eight colts and six fillies comprise the foal crop at the Shandon Farm of P. A. and R. J. Nash this year. Most of the youngsters are sons and daughters of Sun Flag, the Sun Briar stallion, which holds court at Shandon Farm, but next year there should be several baby, thoroughbreds claiming the good horse Burning Blaze for sire. Burning Blaze was cut down in a race a few days before the Kentucky Derby of last year. Five of the Shandon mares were mated with him this spring. The complete list of foals follows: Bay colt by Sun Flag Swastika, brown filly by Sun Flag Wonder Where, bay filly by Sun Flag Owena, bay or brown colt by Sun Flag Gay Way, bay filly by Sun Flag Tidy Maid, bay colt by Sun Flag Dark Hour, chestnut colt by Epinard Biela, brown colt by Sun Flag Pera, black colt by Sun Flag Madcap Marvin, bay filly by General Thatcher -Rose Smith, brown filly by Sun Flag Gotta Go Now, bay colt by Galetian -Mica, chestnut filly by Pompey Stone Image, and bay colt by Sun Flag Spices.
